LOL! totally agree about that! i keep finding frames and restoring them to usable condition. i’ve got six of them now – and i’ve given away about four more to the local homeless population… what can i say, it’s a hobby, i guess… something fascinating about bikes, tho… possibly the greatest and most useful invention of all time… or not. frying pans are pretty good, also… i hope you’re feeling better…
Not too bad! Hoping to get out a little this weekend. My own bike needs some air in the tires after a period of disuse…
While I agree enthusiastically with your post, I’m also fortunate that the local branch of the Chicago Public Library is only a block and a half away from me, thus obviating my need for a bicycle.
Oh, wow! I’m jealous. I lived in downtown Chicago years ago (I attended Roosevelt U.) and the library was on Michigan Ave. I think that building is now a performing arts center and the current library is farther west. They were in the process of building the Harold Washington library. I assume that’s where you go and how cool that you live in the Loop.
It’s funny but whenever I see a bicycle, I think of Mudpuddle!
Me too!!
Same here!
This is a sweet post.
This absolutely fits MP to a tee ❤
