WHAT have you finished reading recently? 1932, finally. FDR and Hitler are interesting subjects and more so when compared against one another, but the nitty-gritty of party politics is not my cup of tea.

WHAT are you reading now? The Outlier, Kai Bird. So fun fact — someone requested this via ILL, but they haven’t come up to claim it yet so I keep reading it during lunch and..um, may finish it this week if they don’t show up for it.. Also working on The Forgotten Man, a history of the Great Depression. Economic troubles are so in this week, apparently.

WHAT are you reading next? Strong possibility that I’ll revisit Rumble Fish, since I just re-acquired a copy of it this past Saturday while exploring a new-to-me bookstore. I am also looking at a take on the Great Depression from an Austrian economist (not Rothbard; that’s TOO much economics) and trying to decide on FDR biographies. I know and like Brands but Jean Edward Smith keeps bobbing to the top despite the greater page count.
