WHAT are you reading now? Just began The Unexpected President, a history of Chester Arthur. Still pecking at The Great Crusade, but I’m mostly reading it for Eisenhower’s voice.

WHAT are you reading next? Who knows? I’ve requested Truman by David McCullough via ILL, but none of my fish are biting. (The way the ILL system works is that I send in a request to five libraries; wait for each of them to say go/no go, and then try again if everyone refuses. In this case I think the sheer size of the 1200 page book is making librarians go “…I am not boxing that monster up.”) I also started reading Dan McClellan’s The Bible Says So, but we’ll see.There are always…options.
