Christos anesti! The choir I’m in will be attempting this piece later this morning. I knew Turner was a good musician & singer from his collabs with Allison Young, but I didn’t realize how vocally versatile he was.

Realizing it all one person singing the different parts.
Happy Resurrection Day.
He’s quite the talent!
He is Risen!
Yes! Though it was rainy in these parts. Choir did the song fairly well and our guest organist was magnificient.
We had sprinkles along with clouds. Very much a ‘sit on the couch’ kind of day.
Happy Easter! π
How was yours in England?
It was nice! We took an extended weekend trip (Good Friday and Easter Monday are holidays in the UK :)). Got to practice my driving a bit more.
I’d say I wonder how much longer the Easter weekend will be a holiday considering King Chuck didn’t bother mentioning it and the CoE is apparently a generation or two away from going the way of the dodo, but I doubt anyone will object to a four-day weekend. We have Good Friday off, but alas! Had to work Monday.
I’m a big fan of floating federal/bank holidays, as some workplaces do… I used to have it at a previous job. I’d work the 4th of July, because it was a busy day for us, and festivities don’t really start till it gets dark anyway. Then I had an extra day just to use whenever. π
