WHAT have you finished recently? Three Inch Teeth, CJ Box.
WHAT are you reading now? Battle Mountain, CJ Box. And then…I shall be caught up.
WHAT are you reading next? Will probably turn my full attention to Summer of Blood by Dan Jones; a CS Lewis mystery; or something that does not involve a game warden and/or Wyoming. Or I may begin the Walter Longmire series, who knows.
How many books are in the Longmire series?
Walt Longmire Mysteries
7.5. Divorce Horse (2012)
8.5. Christmas in Absaroka County (2012)
8.6. Messenger (2013)
9.5. The Spirit of Steamboat (2013)
10.5. Wait for Signs (2014)
11.5. The Highwayman (2016)
Tooth and Claw (2024)
That’ll keep him going for a *few* more weeks…. [grin]
21! Man.
Thank you very much…
I really want to read some nonfiction, so I think I’ll hold off on Longmire!
Addiction is a *terrible* thing… [lol]
And to make matters worse I’m about to finish the second (and last) series of Pickett on Paramount Plus!
Presently catching up on some *OLD* TV – ‘The Blacklist’ and ‘The Dresden Files’ on Prime.
When I think of OLD tv, I think of Ozzie and Harriet, not the stuff I was watching in my twenties!
A C.S. Lewis mystery sounds fun.
I’ve enjoyed it so far!
A CS Lewis mystery? which one?
Last book I finished:
Devils and Saints, a French novel by Jean-Baptist Andrea
Am reading:
The Clock That Wouldn’t Stop, by Elizabeth Ferrars
Am listening to:
Un animal sauvage, by Joël Dicker
Next: Creation Lake, by Rachel Kushner
It’s called “CS Lewis Investigates: Mystery at Rake Hall”. A female student of Jack’s has disappeared (into a home for young ladies who have gotten themselves in the family way). The reader knows this, Lewis doesn’t, but I think something more will happen to the young lady.
Thanks. I’m not familiar with this series
It’s a new series — Rake Hall was released only this year.
Oooooh… I LOVED ‘The Flamethrowers’ by Kushner. I’ll look out for ‘Creation Lake’ next time I’m in a bookshop… Cool.
