Today’s TTT is books with our favorite color on the cover, but I don’t have a favorite color, so I’m just going to go with my favorite covers for the year. But first, teases!
“This is interesting, meeting you here,” said Madred.
Placing his spoon next to his bowl, Garak clasped his hands on the table. “It was my understanding that being forced into exile meant never having to see people I don’t like. Leave it to Central Command to fail at something so simple.” Star Trek: Pliable Truths

Mythos by Stephen Fry almost made it. I was eying Milky Way before deciding that I liked the collage better with that flash of red-purple.
I can’t see your post as it’s an image and therefroe completely inaccessible to screenreader users 🙂

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I added some alt text: I hope that helps. Your link appears to send me to a place to buy a book?
Oh shit! I emailed the customer service for that shop but forgot to replace the link on my clipboard 🤣
Hah! That happens to all of us. I’m usually multitasking and have to double-check what I paste!
Great choices! I loved What You Are You Are Looking For is in the Library, and I have Before the Coffee Gets Cold and Days at the Morisaki Bookshop on my TBR!
I get why you went for Milky Way, the colour does make it striking. I really like A Thousand Ships too, it’s one you look at and instantly know will be a Greek tale.
Yep! And a nicely varied one, too.
I’ve heard good things about Before the Coffee Gets Cold.

You seem to have a slight cat theme going with these covers and I appreciate that!
I am also very drawn to autobiography of the Milky Way, I’d be interested in reading that. Of course I heartily agree with your Chambers selection, and the Haynes cover has so many gorgeous details to look at, that’s a style of cover I like a lot!
The Japanese really like cats, it seems. Planning on posting a short review for We Will Prescribe You a Cat today. The Milky Way book was enjoyable enough but the narrator’s voice grew obnoxious at times. Sass is best in small batches, I think!
It seems so! Oh my gosh that’s actually such a great title, I’ll look forward to checking out your review when I can 🙂
That’s too bad about the overly sassy tone but at least it’s short from what I saw on GR. It seems like a good length to introduce me to the topic without making me lose interest. Hopefully.
I love Garak and you have some awesome covers here! A Thousand Ships has been on my list for ever and ever and I just never got there!
He has a minor but humor-rich part in this novel!
A great collection of covers!

I love the cover for A THOUSAND SHIPS. It’s gorgeous!
Happy TTT!

Nice twist on the prompt!
Japanese books are often cute, aren’t they?
The Japanese books are so cute (can’t wait to read the one on my TBR), and I love the cover for Psalm for the Wild Built (such a great book!)
These are all such beautiful covers – the bottom row is all so beautiful in different ways, while the top all feel like they have an emphasis on nature and green spaces, which we don’t see nearly enough of, in my opinion.
Thanks for including SHELLI – you made my day!
The cover was inspired by the mid-2000s Miami Vice movie poster, which had a blue and white neo-noir vibe.
My pleasure! I’ll have to give that one a watch. I like playing GTA Vice City, which is set in eighties Miami, and it draws a lot of inspiration from the original Miami Vice show.
A psalm for the wild built is one of my absolute favourites. And the cover indeed deserves an appreciation. Funny stoy: I was ranting too much about this book I pressme, my co-worker started calling me ‘Dee tea monk’ ( I can’t function without tea ☕)
I really like the covers for Shelli, A Psalm and A Thousand Ships.
