Today’s prompt is memes that remind us of books, but when I opened Ye Olde Warehouse of Saved Memes, I found that I mostly save political, cultural, and Star Trek memes, so I’m just going to go with “memes that intersect with books, mostly”.
After a book buying spree..
This is one of my favorite meme formats of recent years.
My motivation for dispatching Mount Doom. That, and I didn’t want to die by “falling pile of books”.
It’s true. I can’t even go into a big-box bookstore without trying to straighten things.

I like the one about trapping a librarian (or librarian manquee!) with a badly organized bookshelf! I used to meet a car pool after work at a library. The entryway was also the children’s department. They’d find me replacing the books in alphabetical order…

After going through all of my collection this morning, I found I apparently had a favorite — 4 copies of this:
I save most of mine for ‘Book Month’ (April). I’ll see about sprinkling a few more throughout the year… [muses]
I loved all of these, especially the quote about the libraries and bicycles. It’s so true.
And I’m happy to report my library just installed a bicycle rack!
