I’m currently reading The Rosie Project, in which a man with Aspergers attempts to find Ms. Right. It’s a bit like a romantic memoir penned by Sheldon Cooper; just swap out the string theory for genetics. I’m also reading Solarflare, a collection of solarpunk stories. I recently finished reading SHELLI and The Shadow of War, one a new SF release with an android detective, and the other a novel depicting the Cuban missile crisis. I’m not positive about my next read, but I’ve been neglecting nonfiction for a bit (this is very unusual, nonfiction is usually 70% of my reading) so probably something in that direction. Perhaps Haidt’s The Anxious Generation, on the mental health of Gen Z & Gen Alphas.
Reading Freely 
I would like to try The Rosie Project at some point. I keep seeing it around. I don’t really read much non fiction and would like to find some time to read it at some point. I would like to try Narrative Non Fiction (I think that is what it is called – when it is fact told as a story).

The Rosie Project sounds wholesome, I hope you’re enjoying it! Curious to see what you think about The Anxious Generation if you do pick it up next.
It’s fun! There’s humor, of course, but the main character encounters a wild card who has an unexpected effect on him, so there’s more serious aspects concerning personal growth and so on. May finish it tonight. I’ve enjoyed all of Haidt’s previous works, so I’m expecting good things from this one.
That sounds wonderful, I love a good mix of humour and more serious themes!

Persians is one I have on my old Galaxy S7…need to retrieve it and read it! Undivided Past sounds interesting. I just picked up a new children’s acquisition (The Big Backyard), which is about the solar system beyond the gas giants. It’s probably pitched for middle school and above. but it’s always nice to have a little refresher on planetary formation and the like..
I need to check Solarpunk!
Yeah! It’s a new to me concept, but the idea is optimistic SF about people working in harmony with nature to create better lives together.
