Lot more of those overnight, too. At least blogger lets me mass-delete!

What a pain. I haven't got many spam comments (yet) but I stopped looking at visitor links a while back because there were so many bad ones.
This is the first time I've ever had a massive outbreak like this — it's usually just one comment, and whatever program generated it tries to generate a plausibly relevant comment like “Ah, dear friend, thank you for these comments they are so inightful, I hope you write more in the future jujubeans.com”. Some of these comments were just lists of links!
i'd have to do some research (gasp) to figure out what you-all are talking about…
Random ads (spam) often appear as comments on blogs — it's the reason why you have to prove you're a human to post somewhere like cyberkitten's blog or (now) mine. I personally dislike them, but what else can you do, besides turn on moderation so that you have to individually approve every single comment?
oh, got it… i've run across those but rarely do they believe i'm human: they have bloc after bloc of things they want you to identify, but the pictures are so poor that it's difficult to accurately report the number of bicycles… or zebra crossings…
Well, I'm sure you'd tell us if you were a REAL robot…
lol: imagining myself as a cyborg… back to Daneel Olivaw…
Now that is an excellent model!
I've only had a couple so far – and yes, hooray for mass deletes!
